1. Our Commitment

RavDev Technologies, LLC is committed to making NextGen Grant OS accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as referenced by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

2. Accessibility Features

NextGen Grant OS includes the following accessibility features:

  • Keyboard Navigation: Core application features are navigable using keyboard alone (Tab, arrow keys, Enter, Escape)
  • Screen Reader Compatibility: We use semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and role attributes to support screen readers
  • Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)
  • Dark and Light Mode: Users can choose their preferred theme to reduce eye strain or accommodate visual preferences
  • Resizable Text: The application supports browser-based text resizing without loss of content or functionality
  • Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators are present on all interactive elements
  • Error Identification: Form errors are clearly identified and described in text, not color alone
  • Alternative Text: Images include descriptive alternative text

3. Known Limitations

We are actively working to improve accessibility. Known limitations and areas of ongoing improvement include:

  • Rich text editor (TipTap-based): Some advanced formatting features may have limited screen reader support
  • Complex data visualizations (charts, analytics): We are adding more descriptive text alternatives
  • PDF exports: Exported documents may not be fully accessible; contact us for accessible format alternatives

4. Assistive Technology Compatibility

We test our application with the following assistive technologies:

  • NVDA + Chrome on Windows
  • VoiceOver + Safari on macOS and iOS
  • JAWS + Chrome on Windows
